Excellent interview. There was, however, nothing about snarking. I think ABE new better than to step into dangerous territory. Oh, Elmore Leonard’s newest paperback, The Hot Kid, is now out. I read it last week, and it was just as good as Out of Sight and Get Shorty. I did a short review of it on Amazon.com US.
You should check out “Perfume” by Patrick Suskind (if you haven’t already), I think you’d like it. I miss California too, to the point where I took the bus (in the middle of winter, mind you) to the mall here in Canada for some Taco Bell. Oddly enough, and I forgot about this, we have “Fries Supreme,” something unheard of down there. And it’s good. Really good. I also miss In ‘N Out…ah well.
