I write thrillers. Both my Jo Beckett and Evan Delaney series take place in California, where I’ve spent most of my life. Now I live near London, England, and earn my living inventing stories about the place I came from. Read here about the writing life and the lies that pay my bills.

Cool game, Meg. I did terrible!
I guess I’m too used to looking at the font preview text instead of the name when selecting a font to use.

Difficult indeed.. I scored a 17/34 and most of those were lucky guesses.

24. I am astonished. Okay, I recognised only about 3; the rest I figured out (e.g., italic) or took a wild guess at matching style with name.
Or should I just admit I need to get out more.

24. Like Susan and Patti, I tried to guess via the name (italic, sans).
Who are those people in the hall of fame? 34/34?

Meg, those 34/34 types are the ones who really know their business. Or, more likely, those who know how to hack an online form before submitting it…

I refuse to divulge my score on account it may be used against me in the future.

21/34 - and on a couple of occasions I almost started arguing with the computer. That’s worrying!
