U.S. book tour for The Nightmare Thief

These are amazing independent bookstores, and I’m genuinely excited that I’ll have the chance to visit them all. Anybody who’s within two states: Please come along. Books! Talk! I’ll buy you a beer!

And before you ask: My publisher sets up all my events, in conjunction with bookstores. Where I go depends on that. I’d love to come to your town — honest — but if it’s not on the list this time, you’ll have to wait. (So Chicagoans, please don’t throw pizza at me. I’ll get there.)

I hope to see some of you this summer.

  1. Your whirlwind tour sounds like it’s going to be a great time, Meg. And the Pennsylvania tour stop might be doable for me. I’ve been looking for an excuse to get back to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland…(their new exhibit – “Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power” – is supposed to be excellent..)

    What’s another 150 miles?

  2. Not gonna hold me breath for a stop in Falmouth Kentucky, for not the least of which, there’s nary a single bookstore for over thirty miles in any direction 🙂 .
However, if Cincinnati Ohio somehow finds it’s way on the list, the Cincinnati Chili Cheese Cony’s,and Graeter’s Double Chocolate Chip ice cream is on me ;-).
(fair warning though, I swear on the loving memory of my favorite snappin’ turtle, that ice cream will cause you to shop for local real estate)

  3. I’ll be in Austin, but not until October (my daughter will be playing in a Footy tournament then). I’ll be in New York, but in June (for the RWA Nationals). I guess I should consider myself EXTREMELY lucky you came to Dayton when you did AND I saw it in the paper so I could go!!!

  4. Yeah, you’re coming to Brooklyn.

  5. Ah, damn. I guess “67% there” just isn’t enough. We’ll try harder, honest.

  6. Dear Lord, she’s coming to Austin. Preparations must be made.

  7. Jeff: Prepare the minions!

  8. Oh Austin is the best thing happenin’ in Texas!
Well, I haven’t been down that way in a few years, but I really dug Austin…specifically, Threadgill’s.
Oh my word, please tell me that joint’s still crankin’ out the best chicken fried steak & creamiest milk gravies I’ve ever had (and I’ve had, well, let’s just keep it at a bunch)…oh oh oh, and that kickin’ Buttermilk pie!
That’s where I’d want a mini onion to direct me to (and I’d ask if they still hide them deeelicious cookies 😉 ).
