Where in the world?

I survived the wedding, barely. It was an amazing amount of fun, but I did not adequately train for the dancing. My feet are still aching. And I left early — the silent disco started at midnight, when everybody put on headphones to beat neighborhood noise regulations, and danced like maniacs to trance music that nobody else could hear. Then there were hamburgers.

Now: the geographical question. The photo above was taken in a neighborhood suited to a Raymond Khoury novel — the German Colony, built in the 19th century by a Templer sect. Though I have yet to see any knights charging through the streets on horseback.

  1. Jerusalem?

  2. I’m going with Jerusalem too.

  3. Ding ding ding! You’re correct.

And the photo in the previous post is also from Jerusalem, looking toward the walls of the Old City.
