Serious news today about the British security services disrupting a plot to blow up flights from the UK to the US. The plot is news beyond bad. But despite the alarm, the appalling scope of the alleged plan, and the disruption that it’s causing air travellers here in the UK, this is disaster averted. All credit to MI5, the Anti-terrorist Branch and the other security services. This is a good day.
